Aluminium sulfate, with the formula Al2(SO4)3, is a water-soluble salt predominantly used as a coagulating agent. It facilitates particle collision by neutralizing charges, making it essential for purifying drinking water, treating wastewater, and even in paper manufacturing.

Application

1) Water effluent treatment system: Ideal for purifying drinking water and wastewater by settling impurities through precipitation andflocculation.
2) Paper Industry: Enhances paper quality by improving sheet formation, reducing spots and holes, and increasing sizing efficiency at neutral and alkaline pH levels.
3) Textile Industry: Used for color fixing in Naphthol-based dyes for cotton fabrics, ensuring vibrant and lasting colors.
4) Other Uses: Versatile applications including leather tanning, lubricating compositions, fire retardants, decolorizing petroleum, deodorizing, food additive, firming agent, dyeing mordant, foaming agent in firefighting, fireproofing cloth, catalyst, pH control, waterproofing concrete, aluminum compounds, zeolites, and more.
