Appearance: White needle-shaped crystals at room temperature, unstable in the air, and easily turn light red.
Solubility: Soluble in ethanol, water, acetone, dimethylamide, slightly soluble in ether, and insoluble in benzene, and butanol.
Density: 1.15g/cm³
Melting point: 63-65ºC
Boiling point: 283.2ºC

Use
Dye intermediate: It is a key intermediate for synthesizing many dyes such as azo disperse dyes, reactive dyes, sulfur dyes, mordant dyes, direct dyes and fur dyes. For example, it can be used to make dyes such as basic orange, basic brown G, and direct sun-resistant black G.
Epoxy resin curing agent: It can undergo cross-linking reaction with epoxy resin, improve the cross-linking density and thermal stability of epoxy resin, make it hard, heat-resistant and chemically resistant, and is widely used in electronic packaging, high-end coatings, strong adhesives and other fields.
Rubber antioxidant raw material: used to produce antioxidants DOP, DBP, etc. to improve the aging resistance of rubber products.
Other uses: It can be used as a cement accelerator to shorten the setting time of cement and improve the early strength; it can also be used in hair dye, mordant, color developer, etc. It is also used as a raw material for petroleum additives and the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, and a reagent for the photometric determination of nitrite in water
