Performance: The accelerator DOTG is a white or off-white powder with a slightly bitter taste and no odor. Relative density: 1.01-1.02. It is slightly soluble in chloroform, propylene glycol, and benzene, but insoluble in gasoline and water. It has a very slow start and a relatively slow vulcanization rate. A single amount of sulfur will not return to the original state, so it is necessary to use it in combination with effective anti-aging agents. When DOTG is used in combination with mercaptans, sulfonamides, thiurams, and dithiocarboxylate accelerators, a synergistic effect and secondary promotion can be obtained. The density and vulcanization rate are improved, and the mechanical properties of the vulcanized rubber are good. DOTG does not have a blooming phenomenon in the vulcanized rubber.
