Uses
Food flavoring: Dibenzyl disulfide is widely used in food flavoring formulas, especially in baked products, meat products, cold drinks, soft candies, gel products and non-alcoholic beverages, with usage limits of 1.0 mg/kg and 1.3 mg/kg respectively
Industrial use: It can also be used as an additive for petroleum products such as hyperbolic gear oil, extreme pressure industrial gear oil, hydraulic oil and grease.
