The lauryl diethanolamide produced by this method has a higher purity.

Lauryl diethanolamide (LDEA) has a wide range of uses, mainly including the following aspects:
Cleaning agents: as thickeners, foam stabilizers, emulsifiers and detergents, used to prepare various cleaning agents, such as detergents, shampoos, shower gels, etc.
Personal care products: used in shampoos, light detergents and liquid soaps as foam stabilizers and viscosity improvers.
Industrial applications: used as detergents, thickeners, foam stabilizers and corrosion inhibitors in printing and dyeing auxiliaries; can also be used as rust inhibitors for copper and iron, as well as pesticide emulsifiers and auxiliaries in oil extraction.
