Butanone oxime is a colorless oily liquid with a slight ammonia smell. Its molecular formula is C4H9NO and its molecular weight is 87.12 g/mol. It has strong reducing and complexing abilities and can form stable complexes with a variety of metal ions. Butanone oxime is mainly used as an anti-skinning agent and silicone curing agent for alkyd resin coatings.
