Uses
Dilauryl thiodipropionate is mainly used as an antioxidant and is widely used in the production of plastics, resins, rubbers, greases and other materials. It can effectively decompose peroxides in the auto-oxidation chain reaction of greases, thereby extending the shelf life of greases and fat-rich foods. In addition, didodecyl thiodipropionate is also approved for use in edible oils or oil-rich foods because its toxicity is only 1/10 to 1/24 of some commonly used edible antioxidants

Didodecyl thiodipropionate is irritating to the eyes and upper respiratory tract and may be harmful to the body after inhalation, ingestion or absorption through the skin.
