Introduction
Polymethylhydrogensiloxane is a silicone oil used in biology and chemistry. Under the action of metal salt catalysts, it can crosslink to form a film at low temperature, forming a waterproof film on the surface of various materials. It can be used as a waterproof agent for various materials such as fabrics, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metal, cement, marble, etc.; especially for fabric waterproofing. Function Polymethylhydrogensiloxane is used as a mild and stable reducing agent in organic chemistry, which can easily transfer hydrides to metal centers and other reducible functional groups.
Uses
1. Used as a waterproofing, anti-foaming agent, and crosslinking agent for chain crosslinks in textiles, rubber, leather, paper, and building materials
2. It is a raw material for preparing block copolymers
