Physical properties
Vinyltrimethylsilane is a transparent, colorless liquid with a density of 0.7±0.1g/cm3, a boiling point of 55°C, a melting point of -132°C, and a flash point of -9.4±12.0C. It is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, tetrahydrofuran, benzene, and dichloromethane.
