Nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether is a colorless and transparent liquid with a density of 1.06g/mL, a refractive index of
1.495, a melting point of 42-46°C, a boiling point of 250°C, and a flash point of 535°F. It is stable in a wide pH range and temperature range, has good resistance to hard water, and can be used in combination with anionic and cationic surfactants.
Application areas
Nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether is widely used in detergents, printing and dyeing, chemical industry and other fields. It can be used as a W/O type emulsifier or a 0/W type emulsifier and dispersant, and is the main raw material for synthetic detergents. In addition, it is also widely used in industrial cleaning, textile printing and dyeing, papermaking, leather chemicals, chemical fiber oils, oil field additives, pesticides, emulsion polymerization and other industrial fields.
