Propylene glycol can be used as raw material for resins, plasticizers, surfactants, emulsifiers and demulsifiers, and also as antifreeze and heat carrier

 

Propylene glycol mainly used in various spices, colors, preservatives solvent, vanilla bean, roasted coffee granules, natural flavor extraction solvent. A moisturizing and softening agent for sweets, breads, packaged meats, cheeses, etc. It can also be used as an anti-mildew aid for noodles and fillings. Adding 0.006% to soy milk can make the flavor unchanged when heated, and make white and shiny packaged tofu, which is bulked up when fried in oil
