Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide-production method
The trimethylamine aqueous solution is put into a vaporizer and heated to boiling. The trimethylamine gas produced is dried and absorbed with acetone. A trimethylamine acetone solution is generated in the absorption tower and then enters the quaternization kettle. Then, add hexadecane bromide dropwise under stirring, with the molar ratio of the two being 1.10:1. Keep the temperature at 30-40°C during the addition process, and keep the temperature and stir for 1 hour after the addition is completed. Cool and crystallize to obtain a crude product, which is then washed with acetone, dried, and dried to obtain the product.
