Magnesium perchlorate is a pure product with a white appearance. It is usually in the form of crystals or powders. It has significant deliquescent properties and is highly hygroscopic. Its physical state in the environment does not mention its melting point, which is known to be 251°C, but decomposition may occur at this temperature. Boiling point data is not yet recorded.
