Chromium oxide (Cr2O3) is an important inorganic compound with a wide range of applications. It is a green solid, belonging to the hexagonal system or amorphous crystals, with metallic luster and hiding power. The physical properties of chromium oxide include its density of 5.22 g/cm3, melting point of 2435°C, and boiling point of 4000°C. It has good corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and wear resistance, and is one of the most important oxides of chromium. Chromium oxide is relatively rare in nature and mainly exists in minerals such as chromite, chromite, etc.
